As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I understand what it’s like to feel different from ‘normal’ and work with clients empathetically and non-judgmentally, believing that our differences are what make us all unique and beautiful.
I'm passionate about helping people heal from their childhood traumas, increasing self-confidence, and strengthening the relationships you have with yourself and with others. I work well with people who aim to be kinder to themselves, are curious about healthier boundaries, and are open to therapeutic change.
Having someone next to you on your healing journey is so important—it helps you feel less isolated and alone. I deeply care about the well-being of everyone I work with. I have met people from all walks of life; everyone is welcome.
I've had a variety of careers and roles throughout the years, but they've always involved helping other people. My journey started when I decided to begin on a path of self-discovery on a counselling course in Manchester.
I then moved to Leeds after working abroad for a while, attended Leeds City College to become a person-centred therapist, and continued my education at Leeds Beckett University to study different modalities and become integrated. Training in a fantastic organisation offering generic counselling has allowed me to combine my work, continual training, expertise, and knowledge of a wide range of areas.
Additionally, I joined the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) as a registered member, where I follow the organisation's ethical and professional standards. Furthermore, I also achieved my professional accreditation (PNCPS Acc.) with the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS).
